Contractor Verification Standards
ServiceFind enforces a strict 4-step compliance protocol before matching any local gutter contractor with homeowners. We audit licenses, verify insurance coverage, and inspect equipment standards.
State License Registry Check
We confirm active standing with official state contractor licensing bodies (such as CSLB in CA, DBPR in FL, or ROC in AZ). Where trade-specific licenses are not mandated, municipal business registrations and Good Standing records are audited.
Active Insurance Auditing ($1M+ GL)
Contractors must carry current Commercial General Liability insurance (minimum $1,000,000 policy coverage) and state-mandated Workers\' Compensation insurance to ensure complete homeowner indemnification against accidental property damage or personal injuries.
Equipment & Material Certification
Contractors must demonstrate ownership or operation of certified seamless roll-forming machines and commit to heavy-gauge 0.032" aluminum coil stock and hidden screw bracket fasteners spaced no further than 24" on center.
Ongoing Quality Auditing
Every contractor is continuously audited via post-service customer feedback, warranty response times, and billing dispute reviews. Any provider failing to honor workmanship warranties is immediately removed from the network.
How ServiceFind Works — Transparent Marketplace Disclosure
ServiceFind operates as an independent matching and referral marketplace. We connect homeowners with pre-screened, verified third-party gutter installation, cleaning, and repair contractors. We do not manufacture gutter profiles or perform contracting services directly. Our network providers are evaluated per our published vetting methodology, including active state licensing verification and insurance validation.
